Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Mechatronics Engineer with strong capabilities in system architecture design, component selection, and hands-on automation deployment. You will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and delivering mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and AI-driven technologies.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, AI, and hardware engineers, to ensure successful execution and deployment of Hypervise-based automation solutions across client environments.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Systems Design

  • Architect end-to-end automation systems integrating mechanical, electrical, and AI components.
  • Develop system flow diagrams, functional architecture, and DFMEA documentation.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into efficient system designs

Electronics & Component Selection

  • Evaluate and select suitable sensors, actuators, controllers, and electronics.
  • Prepare BOMs ensuring cost-effectiveness, performance, and compatibility.

Mechanical-Electronic Integration

  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure harmonious integration of mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Support structural and functional alignment in the overall design process.

Integration Testing

  • Design and document unit/system test cases for validation and debugging.
  • Conduct integration testing ensuring >90% FAT and 100% SAT success rates.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues before deployment.

Hypervise Deployment

  • Lead and support the deployment of Hypervise systems into production.
  • Engage with field teams for on-site implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and fine-tune system performance post-deployment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation, system integration, or mechatronics.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design.
  • Strong grasp of control systems, sensors, actuators, and PLC/SCADA platforms.
  • Programming experience in C++, Python, and PLC environments.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols: Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP.
  • Experience with machine vision systems, robotic arms, and 3D vision is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional and customer-facing teams.
  • Detail-oriented and documentation-focused.

  • BOM cost-performance balance and completeness.
  • DFMEA and system documentation quality.
  • Integration test scores: ≥90% FAT, 100% SAT.
  • TATs: 3 weeks (Planning), 10 days (Functional Testing), 6 days (FAT).
  • Positive stakeholder feedback and satisfaction ratings.
