Ltd. is looking for Editors for English to join its print and digital vertical.Primary responsibilities:To understand the essence behind each product.To ensure timely, error-free and cost-effective publication of books by handling projects from the manuscript stage to the final books.To ensure completion of assigned editorial tasks within agreed schedulesTo assist in planning and managing copy editing schedules of assigned tasksTo ensure the publication of error-free, high-quality booksTo ensure efficient and professional communication with authorsCandidate Specification:Post Graduate in English/Diploma Certificate Course in Publishing3-5 years of experience working with a brand with a Pan India presenceConversant with the basics of editingExperience in publishing K-12 booksKnowledge of various typesetting and designing programs, such as PageMaker, Photoshop, and InDesignEffective written and verbal communication skillsEffective organisational skillsPerforming under strict deadlinesCompensation – At par with industry standardsWorking days: 5 days a week
