Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description:Acelerex is an independent consultant and software maker focused on data driven, economic processes to lead to cleaner, reliable, and resilient grids to leverage distributed resources in electric power, energy, and transportation networks. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical engineering, exposure to construction activities, and hands-on project coordination experience. Job Description: Position Overview:As an Electrical Project Engineer the candidate will support multi-country power and energy projects, bridging engineering deliverables and project execution while coordinating closely with internal teams and site stakeholders.Responsibilities:Project Coordination & TrackingTrack day-to-day project progress and collect daily/weekly updates from engineering and site teamsUpdate and maintain project schedules, milestones, and action trackersShare structured progress updates with internal teams and project leadsEngineering Support & DeliverablesSupport preparation and review of electrical engineering deliverables, including:Engineering drawingsTechnical documents, schedules, and calculationsCoordinate inputs between engineering, construction, and commissioning teamsAssist in resolving design clarifications and site-driven engineering changesSite & Construction InterfaceSupport construction-phase activities through coordination, reviews, and technical inputsParticipate in site visits as requiredAssist in issue tracking, site observations, and resolution follow-upsStakeholder CommunicationAct as a coordination point between engineers, project managers, vendors, and contractorsParticipate in internal and client meetings to discuss progress, risks, and next steps Benefits:Competitive salary.Working in an international workplace.Opportunities for professional growth and development in an international company.A collaborative and innovative work environment.Contribution to sustainable energy solutions.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or additional qualifications.Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field.Project coordination or project management support experience is preferred.Exposure to construction or site execution activities is preferred.Skills:Written and Spoken EnglishUnderstanding of electrical systems for power, renewable energy, substations, BESS, or industrial projectsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documentsExperience working with project schedules, trackers, and progress reportsProficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and other standard engineering and reporting toolsFamiliarity with engineering documentation and deliverable review processesStrong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills Location and Start Date:The position will be based in the Acelerex office in Vadodara, India.
