Job Title: Litigation Associate/Senior Associate
Department: Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Experience: 2–5 years
Reporting to: Founder and Principal Counsel
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients with the team before DRT, DRAT, NCLT, NCLAT, High
Court and District Courts.
• Handle litigation relating to debt recovery, insolvency & bankruptcy, company
law disputes, and general civil litigation.
• Draft and vet legal pleadings including petitions, applications, replies,
affidavits, and written submissions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs and legal opinions for ongoing
litigation.
• Coordinate with clients, counsels, court clerks, and tribunal staff to ensure
timely filings and compliance.
• Support the team in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Sound understanding of the IBC, SARFAESI Act, RDDBFI Act, Companies
Act, and Civil Procedure Code.
• Strong drafting and research skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for internal coordination and client interface.
• Time management and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council and eligible to practice in Courts of
Maharashtra.
• 2–5 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably with focus on financial
recovery, company law and insolvency matters.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
• Prior experience or interest in arbitration.
• Familiarity with enforcement of arbitral awards.
