The role requires strong expertise in SAP BTP services, cloud application development, and automation of build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems, leveraging BTP capabilities, and ensuring efficient, automated delivery of solutions.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, CAP, SAP HANA Cloud).Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Node.js, JavaScript, or Python or ABAP on SAP BTPExperience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with backend systems via OData and REST APIs.Connecting CAPM apps with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, and third-party systems via destinations and APIs.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or SAP CI/CD).Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native development.Build Automation Expertise:Experience in automating builds, deployments, and testing processes.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for SAP environments.Apply best practices for authentication, authorization, and secure coding on SAP BTP.Manage roles and authorizations using SAP Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning services.Other Skills:Strong understanding of REST/OData APIs and microservices architecture.Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control.Monitor application performance using SAP BTP monitoring tools and optimize scalability.Good problem-solving and debugging skills.Experience in Life Sciences or Manufacturing industry with strong business process knowhowPreferred Qualifications:SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP BTP).Experience with SAP Integration Suite and Event Mesh.Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
