HEORRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Real-World Evidence (RWE) Analytics professional to join our team. This mid-senior level role requires deep expertise in real-world data (RWD) analytics, retrospective database studies, and advanced statistical methodologies, with a strong track record of delivering impactful insights to support clinical, medical, and commercial decision-making in global healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of international experience in RWE, demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities, and lead complex analytics projects with autonomy and precision.In addition, this role will require managing a talented team, driving strategic HEOR and RWE initiatives, fostering innovation in data science and analytics, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple projects and stakeholders.Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesDesign and execute RWE studies using structured and unstructured healthcare data sources (e.G., claims, EMR, registries, digital health)Develop and apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insightsLead retrospective database analyses to support evidence generation for medical affairs, market access, and clinical developmentDraft and review technical reports, abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations based on RWE findingsCollaborate cross-functionally to define research questions, study designs, and analytical approachesPresent complex analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and impactful mannerContribute to thought leadership through publications, conference presentations, and internal knowledge sharingEnsure rigorous project management across timelines, budgets, and quality standardsRequired Skills and Capabilities10–15 years of global experience in RWE analytics, healthcare data science, or related fields within life sciences or consultingStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt analytical strategies to evolving business needsDeep understanding of therapeutic areas and disease treatment pathwaysProven ability to lead projects independently and engage key stakeholders effectivelyExperience in managing teams and allocating resources efficientlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in inferential statistics, predictive modeling, and machine learning (preferred)Technical expertise in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools; familiarity with Excel,PowerPoint, and WordOrganizational BehaviorsRequires high level of interactive communication and challenges to conceptual thinking as necessaryAbility to influence others at a senior level across the business in order gain commitment to strategyProven teamwork and collaboration skillsWell-developed cultural sensitivityEffectively represents the company externally to key stakeholdersEducational backgroundBachelor’s degree in clinical or biological sciences, engineering, Stats or Operations ResearchMaster’s degree in outcomes research, health economics or related fields (Preferred)Doctoral degree in relevant field (Preferred)ABOUT AXTRIAAxtria is a global provider of cloud software and data analytics to the Life Sciences industry.
