The firm has presence in India, Singapore, USA and UAE. Role Description for US Tax Associate This is a full-time on-site role for US Tax Associate, based in Chennai. The Tax Associate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, preparing tax returns, conducting tax planning, and providing support in navigating tax laws. The role includes reviewing financial records, working closely with clients to meet their tax obligations, and ensuring accurate and timely filings. The individual will be expected to contribute towards advisory research, preparing tax memos/ deliverables, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax practices Familiarity with Tax Law and its applications in various sectors Experience in Finance and understanding of financial principles related to taxation Attention to detail and analytical thinking to ensure accurate reporting Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; EA or equivalent certification is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in the use of accounting and tax software tools Relevant work experience in tax compliance or advisory roles is preferred
