QualificationsETO CoC holder is a must.Experience3 years of experience in a similar positionSeagoing experience as Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)Experience in training seafarersKey Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesCompliance with the requirements of the Training manual.Review, develop and deliver training courses as required to ensure safe vessel operations and marine environmental protection under regulatory, owner and company-specific requirements.Maintain proper records and documentation of training activities.Evaluate training effectiveness and client satisfaction and rectify any shortcomings as soon as possible under the Quality Management System requirements.Stay abreast of industry developments and proactively provide solutions to emerging industry challenges to ensure the company’s competitive advantage.Report on any training course planning-related issues to the line manager.Understanding the impact of delayed readiness of seafarers on business performance.Maintain good professional relationships with colleagues in all business functions, service providers and external stakeholders.Any other function as directed by the General Manager, Training. · Training Responsibilities per Discipline (indicative)Electrical Officer / Electro-TechnicalDelivery of all Electrical and Electronic related courses, any simulator-based training and courses related to the latest regulatory training.Electro-Hydraulic and Pneumatic training.Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation training.Leadership and resource management courses.Safety Courses.
