This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data engineering, real-time processing, and building scalable systems that serve enterprise-grade applications.Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and optimize SQL- and DBT-based data pipelines. - Implement and maintain PostgreSQL solutions ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. - Build near real-time replication pipelines and support continuous data integration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and data requirements into robust solutions. - Automate workflows using Airflow, Rundeck, Mage, or Dagster. - Monitor, test, validate, and optimize data quality, pipeline health, and system performance.Core Technical Skills & ExpertiseSQL & DBT (Core Focus) - Advanced SQL development: complex queries, views, performance tuning. - Strong experience with DBT development, testing, and orchestration. - Hands-on with data validation tools: dbt tests, Great Expectations, etc.PostgreSQL Expertise - Deep knowledge of Postgres internals, replication, tuning, and performance optimization. - Experience with JSON-B, extensions, and Postgres version upgrades with minimal downtime. - Ability to configure and maintain self-hosted Postgres environments for high availability.Automation & Infrastructure - Skilled with workflow orchestrators: Airflow, Dagster, Metaflow, etc. - Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. - Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.How to ApplyInterested candidates can send their CV to: careers@sidinformation.comSubject Line: Application – Senior PostgreSQL Developer (DBT)
