Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, performance, and compatibility.
  • Work closely with designers and content teams to implement responsive and accessible UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO.
  • Ensure security best practices and keep WordPress installations, themes, and plugins up to date.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery .
  • Deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin architecture.
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) , WPBakery , Elementor , or other page builders.
  • Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues independently.
  • Good understanding of security best practices for WordPress environments.
