We’re seeking afuture team member for the role of Senior Associate,Front-End Engineer to join our team. This role is inPune, MH – HYBRID.

In this role, you’llmake an impact in the followingways:  

  • The job holder uses existing and emerging technologyplatforms to design, develop and document technically detailedapplications. S/he writes new complex systems (a grouping ofprograms involving multiple levels of table dimension and internalsorts that accomplishes a particular new function), designs andcodes programs and creates test transactions. 
  • S/he also analyzes organizational needs and goals todevelop and implement application systems. Provides applicationsoftware development services or technical support in situations ofmoderate complexity. May also be responsible for requirementsgathering and BRD/SRD preparation. Has thorough knowledge of theSoftware Development Life Cycle. 
  • Conducts reviews of the test Plan and testData.Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code. Analyze,design and develop tests and test-automation suites. Developflowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements andsolutions. 
  • Maintain softwarefunctionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Activelyparticipate in code reviews. Integrate software components into afully functional software system. Apply security and privacyprinciples.Execute full lifecycle softwaredevelopment. 
  • Develop softwareverification plans and quality assurance procedures. Troubleshoot,debug and upgrade existing systems. Ensure software is updated withlatest features. Participate in deployment process following allchange controls. Provide ongoing maintenance, support andenhancements in existing systems and platforms. 
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.Activelearning engagement. Complete all required mandatory training /policy awareness curricula on time. Use learning tools such asPluralsight to complete both recommended and aspirational targetsset in personal development plans.
  • Demonstrateteam work. Leverage existing products/functionality and promotereuse. Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevatetechnology and consistently apply best practices. Collaborateclosely with all the other members of the team to take sharedresponsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committedto. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally withdata engineers, business users, project managers and otherengineers to achieve elegant solutions. Utilize local meetups togain and share knowledge.Compiles documentation written by moresenior developers of all procedures used in system. Acts as mentorto junior level engineers. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking thefollowing:  

  • Experience in developing front end, web or mobilesoftware development using one or more of the following Angular,Angular JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, Angular Job holder musthave thorough knowledge of company's IT infrastructure and dailyoperations and understand the impact of plannedchanges. 
  • S/he must have knowledge aboutthe functions and features of modern and traditional structuredmethods for developing applications. 
  • Communications and organization skills; teamwork skillsContributes to the achievement of related teams'objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in computerscience engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent workexperience required.
  • 4-6 years of experiencein software development required; experience in the securities orfinancial services industry is a plus; should have thoroughknowledge of the software development cycle S/he must also haveexperience developing Front-End.
  •  Jobholder must be knowledgeable about cross-platform interoperability(multiple platforms i.e. NT, Intranet, etc.) , major tools in atoolkit for a specific platform and features of multiple toolkits.S/he must be experienced at resolving hardware, software, andcommunications malfunctions and understand the business impact ofresolving complications.
