Job Title: Electrical Engineer – High Speed Rail Project (MEP)Job Location: SuratJob Purpose:To design, review, implement, and oversee electrical systems and installations for the Bullet Train project, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and international standards while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver on-time project execution.Key Responsibilities:Coordination with Design team & Engineering:Prepare, review, and validate electrical system designs, layouts, and schematics for stations, depots, tunnels, and trackside facilities.Ensure electrical works comply with Indian Railway standards, international norms (IEC/IEEE), and project specifications.Perform load calculations, cable sizing, earthing, and lightning protection designs.Project Execution & Coordination:Supervise and monitor installation of electrical systems including LV/MV panels, transformers, UPS, DG sets, SCADA systems, and lighting.Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and signaling teams for seamless MEP integration.Interface with vendors, contractors, and consultants for technical clarifications and approvals.Testing & Commissioning:Plan and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.Ensure reliability, energy efficiency, and safety compliance of installed systems.Compliance & Documentation:Maintain documentation of drawings, test reports, approvals, and as-built records.Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.Quality & Risk Management:Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks.Identify risks, propose mitigation measures, and escalate issues when required.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).5–10 years of experience in large infrastructure / rail / metro / high-speed rail projects (MEP focus).Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, railway standards, and safety codes.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or other electrical design software.Strong project management and coordination skills.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.Key Competencies:Technical expertise in large-scale electrical systems.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.Team collaboration across multi-disciplinary domains.Location - SuratSalary - 50,000/- to 80,000/- per monthShift - Day shift
