Mitti also upholds eco-friendly practices, delivering food in biodegradable containers through its e-commerce partners, Zomato and Swiggy. In addition to the bistro, Mitti operates "Mitti Bakes," a small bakery offering low-calorie and vegan baked goods. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Indore. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves conducting audits, managing payroll, handling tax filings, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to develop budgets and monitor financial performance, ensuring the financial health of the organization. Qualifications Strong skills in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Taxation Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting Experience with Auditing, Compliance, and Financial Regulations Attention to detail, Analytical thinking, and Problem-solving skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred) Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus
