Position Overview 

We are looking for a reliable, analytical, and communicative Bookkeeper to manage our 

financial records with accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 

years of bookkeeping experience, strong communication skills, advanced Excel capabilities, 

and solid knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and payroll. 

Key Responsibilities 

∙ Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), 

accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations (BRS) 

∙ Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll 

regulations 

∙ Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review 

∙ Manage invoicing, billing, and collections efficiently 

∙ Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies 

∙ Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation 

∙ Collaborate with external accountants and auditors as needed 

∙ Use accounting software (QuickBooks) proficiently to manage day to day bookkeeping 

tasks 

∙ Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities for improvement 

∙ Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations 

Qualifications & Skills 

∙ Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience, Experience in healthcare or clinical 

setting will be an asset 

∙ Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) or equivalent degree 

∙ Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software tools 

∙ Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations (BRS), accounts payable (AP), and Canadian 

payroll regulations 

∙ Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools 

∙ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities 

∙ Strong verbal and written communication skills 

∙ Detail oriented with high accuracy and organizational skills 

∙ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team 

∙ Knowledge of Canadian tax laws and compliance is a plus
