Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Frontend Lead specializing in React.js to lead our UI development team. The role requires deep expertise in building scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly web applications, along with the ability to guide and mentor a team of frontend engineers. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern frontend frameworks, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js and related technologies. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Define and enforce frontend development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines. Review code, provide technical mentorship, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions within the team. Work closely with architects to design scalable, maintainable, and reusable frontend components. Ensure application performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility. Drive CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and deployment practices for frontend modules. Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools, and technologies and bring innovation to the team. Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines as a technical lead. Required Skills & Experience 6–10 years of hands-on experience in frontend development, with at least 2+ years in a lead role. Expertise in React.js, Redux (or other state management libraries), React Hooks, and Context API. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn. Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to work closely with designers to bring wireframes to life. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for frontend deployment. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Preferred Experience Experience in micro-frontend architecture and modular component design. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for hosting frontend applications. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices. Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as a frontend lead.
