Job Overview:
The individual will be part of GSC Operations team and will manage GTO Operations. The core part of the role consists of overseeing Global Quality KPIs / benchmarking and maintaining Standards, leveraging Quality systems, and driving process improvements across plant quality, process safety, supplier quality audits & computer systems validation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership support in building and growing the Global Technical Organization across functional quality domains – process engineering, quality, and process safety. Thorough understanding of product / process quality domain – Quality Planning, Control, and Improvement processes. Usage exposure on technology areas of strategic deployment – quality tools, technology Good to have – exposure in quality in research, development, and engineering domains including inspection and testing. Draft and design projects, programs and initiatives by translating Enterprise Quality Goals and Objectives into team's objectives by liaising with global leadership team. Ability to work in ambiguity and diverse portfolio management to derive value out of projects and priorities set by the executive leadership – individual needs to conduct expectation setting exercise with each functional leader. Regularly connecting with functional leaders to review the progress for all the ongoing projects with robust review and governance mechanism. Conducting daily standups with each team within GTO operations to review projects and address routine challenges. Internal collaboration with GSC Analytics and IT to cater to business requirements in application-builds, KPI visualizations and ad hoc data support. Collaborate with front line quality teams to drive improvement in process capability, first pass failure, customer complaints, control charts, etc. and drive standardization across regions and functions. Regularly reviewing performance goals and developmental goals of team leaders & individual members. Actively participate in talent council sessions with operations leadership & HR team for succession planning. Timely and constructive feedback to the team. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate / drive common objectives. Effective resource planning and tracking. Completing all the administrative activities to manage performance of team members. Seeking timely feedback from business leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering domain – Chemical / Mechanical / Production, PG/MBA Operations Management Proven 15 to 18 years of experience in supply chain/manufacturing/quality with people management. Certified / experience in TQM, SPC, ISO audits, plant / supplier audits, global benchmarking exercises Very good understanding of supply chain management, and related data domains. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
