Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HVAC Design Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in retail or commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in HVAC systems, including load calculations, duct design, and energy-efficient practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) for retail and commercial spaces
  • Perform heat load calculations using tools such as HAP or Carrier
  • Prepare layout drawings for ductwork, piping, and HVAC equipment using AutoCAD
  • Select appropriate HVAC equipment (AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, exhaust fans, etc.)
  • Coordinate with internal MEP teams, architects, and site engineers
  • Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and relevant local standards
  • Support in preparing BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation
  • Participate in design reviews and occasional site visits

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • 1–2 years of HVAC design experience in retail or commercial building projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage
  • Familiarity with HVAC design tools like HAP or E20 Sheet
  • Good understanding of Indian and international HVAC standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good time management and task execution abilities
