Duties to be performed

  • Develop a comprehensive test plan outlining the testing approach, scope, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Align test planning with overall project goals and objectives.
  • Capable of driving pre-sales activities and preparing compelling proposals Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of project tasks, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and deviations from the plan.
  • Foster effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders. Regularly update project sponsors and key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure project goals align with overall organizational objectives.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, considering skills, availability, and project requirements. Work closely with team members to optimize productivity and resolve any resource-related challenges.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks.
  • Evaluate testing processes and tools and recommend enhancements.
  • Identify training needs for the testing team and provide necessary training.
  • Keep the team updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in testing

Required Skill Set

  • Years of experience: 12 years
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). '
  • Proven experience as an IT Test Manager, managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Retail domain experience with good knowledge in managing testing activities for POS transformation projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
