DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description Introduction

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product Engineer – DevSecOps to take our platform security and infrastructure to the next level. You will drive security and reliability improvements across our cloud and container stack while collaborating closely with engineering leadership. This is a full-time, fully remote role based in India.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Infrastructure Hardening – Review and remediate cloud server and container configurations, enforce Linux hardening best practices and tighten access controls.

Privileged Access Management – Lead the rollout of a Privileged Access Management(PAM) solution (Teleport experience a plus), securing EKS clusters and databases and implementing command and query logging.

Dependency & Vulnerability Management – Audit application libraries and dependencies, patch vulnerabilities, and implement secure dependency management practices.

Observability & Logging – Strengthen monitoring, logging and alerting coverage with tools such as Datadog, including logging key platform events like DB queries and Kubernetes commands.

Vulnerability Remediation – Address findings from scanning tools and proactively patch server and container vulnerabilities.

Work closely with engineering teams to implement best practices and improve the overall security posture of our infrastructure.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud security and Kubernetes (EKS).

Expert in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

Solid understanding of Linux systems security and container security best practices.

Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog.

Prior implementation of Privileged Access Management solutions.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).

Experience in fast-paced product engineering or consulting environments.
