Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer with around 3+ years of experience in frontend UI automation using Playwright with Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated end-to-end test suites for web applications, ensuring smooth UI functionality, and contributing to quality assurance practices in a CI/CD environment.

Key Responsibilities:


•         Design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright with Java.


•         Automate end-to-end functional test cases for web-based applications.


•         Validate UI elements, workflows, and user interactions across different browsers and resolutions.


•         Ensure complete regression coverage by updating and managing test cases regularly.


•         Troubleshoot test failures, analyze logs, and report issues with detailed documentation.


•         Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand feature requirements and test objectives.


•         Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).


•         Maintain high code quality and follow best practices for automation testing.

Required Skills:


•         Hands-on experience in UI automation using Playwright with Java.


•         Good understanding of frontend testing principles and asynchronous UI behaviors.


•         Proficiency in Java programming and OOP concepts.


•         Experience working with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.


•         Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).


•         Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM structure, JavaScript basics).


•         Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:


•         Experience with cross-browser testing and visual regression testing.


•         Familiarity with test reporting tools like Allure or ExtentReports.


•         Exposure to version control systems like Git.


•         Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
