Join us on our journey to shape the future with AI.We are looking for an accomplished Software Development Engineer III who will act as a senior individual contributor and emerging technical leader within our teams. You will own complex system designs, drive impactful technical solutions, and mentor junior engineers. At Techjays, you will elevate engineering standards, influence cross-team projects, and contribute to building scalable, AI-first systems that advance our technology vision.Location: RemoteWhat You’ll DoDesign and build scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI) or C#Lead feature development and end-to-end implementation of APIs and systemsOptimize performance and scalability across data-intensive applicationsContribute to architecture reviews, tech design, and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, UX) to deliver business valueLeverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to boost development velocityWhat You’ll Bring3–7 years of backend development experience with strong design and problem-solving skillsAdvanced skills in Python or C#, REST APIs, and distributed systemsHands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Snowflake or similar platformsProficiency in writing integration tests and using observability tools (e.g., Datadog)Strong communication across time zones and functions (written + spoken English)Nice-to-HaveExperience with modern data stacks: dbt, AWS Glue, S3, Dagster, StarburstCompetency in frontend development with React and TypeScriptExposure to web scraping tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.)What we offerBest-in-class packagesPaid holidays and flexible time offCasual dress code & flexible working environmentWork in an engaging, fast-paced environment with ample opportunities for professional growthMedical insurance covering self & family up to 4 lakhs per personDiverse and multicultural work environmentBe part of an innovation-driven culture with the support and resources needed to succeed
