Mid/Senior (5+ years) Key Responsibilities Grafana Setup and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade Grafana on on-premises or cloud infrastructure. Integrate Grafana with data sources such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other supported tools. Dashboard Development: Design and develop custom dashboards to provide insights into system and application performance. Create visually appealing and functional visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Alerting and Notification: Configure alerting mechanisms and notification channels (e.g., Teams, PagerDuty, email). Monitor system and application health using thresholds and advanced metrics. Access Management: Administer user roles and permissions for secure and efficient access to Grafana. Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and LDAP integration if needed. Performance Optimization: Monitor Grafana performance and optimize for scalability and speed. Troubleshoot and resolve performance and configuration issues. Documentation and Training: Create documentation for Grafana configurations, dashboards, and best practices. Conduct training sessions for team members on Grafana usage. Security and Compliance: Ensure Grafana complies with security policies and best practices. Regularly review and patch vulnerabilities in Grafana installations. Required Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in Grafana implementation, administration, and customization. Experience with Grafana integrations (e.g., Prometheus, Graphite, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch). Strong knowledge of time-series data and metrics visualization. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration. Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation. Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
