Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Node.js.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Implement microservices architecture and ensure smooth integration with other systems.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design schemas and ensure efficient queries.
  • Follow best practices in CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and deployment.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and propose their adoption when beneficial.


Requirements


  • 3–6 years of software development experience in Node.js.
  • Good knowledge of async programming, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture.
  • Hands-on with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB/Redis/DynamoDB).
  • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
  • Problem-solving mindset, team collaboration, and agile working experience.
