About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Solution Architect to join our growing team.

- As a Senior AWS Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in guiding our cloud transformation journey by designing, implementing, and managing robust and scalable cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.

- You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into innovative and effective cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement complex cloud solutions on the AWS platform, leveraging a wide range of AWS services (e.g EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, etc.

- Develop and document detailed architectural designs, including diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment plans.

- Ensure that cloud solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.

- Adhere to AWS best practices and architectural principles (e.g,the AWS Well-Architected Framework).

- Develop and execute cloud migration strategies, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and refactoring applications to the AWS cloud.

- Assess and migrate existing on-premises workloads to AWS.

- Optimize existing cloud deployments for performance, cost, and security.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate cloud deployments and infrastructure management.

- Develop and maintain IaC templates and modules for reusable infrastructure components.

- Integrate cloud solutions with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track cloud resource utilization and application performance.

- Automate operational tasks, such as provisioning, scaling, and patching.

- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing appropriate security controls, access management policies, and data encryption.

- Adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).

- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, development teams, and IT operations.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Present technical solutions and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification (required).

- Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
