Sunways Global Group is seeking a Project Planning Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for a highly organized and analytical individual with a strong foundation in project planning and execution. The selected candidate will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth execution of solar power and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution, monitoring, and control.- Assist in resource planning, budget estimation, and cost control measures.- Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions.- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for project timelines.- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.- Collaborate with procurement, design, and site teams to ensure timely project completion.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.- 0-2 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or coordination.- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.- Knowledge of construction, solar power projects, or engineering services is an advantage.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) is an added advantage.- Experience with solar power projects, engineering, or construction industries.- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
