Murex Testing

Job Description :

Candidate must have knowledgeable on FO and BO, Experience on the Static data is must. ideally an exposure on the Fixed Income and Security flow. any exposure to MxTest, CI/CD, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Interfaces, etc.).
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
• Work closely with Murex business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
• Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
• Defect tracking, logging, and retesting in coordination with development teams.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
• Provide regular status updates and test progress reports.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of overall experience in Murex testing.
• Hands-on experience in Murex automation Tools.
• Strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows (FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) for automation.
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar).
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
