About the Job :

Our client, a leading multinational corporation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on Service Portal development. This role is crucial for enhancing and maintaining their ServiceNow platform, specifically the user-facing Service Portal, and ensuring seamless integration with other IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, strong Core Java development skills, and hands-on experience in implementing and customizing Service Portal :

- Service Portal Development : Design, develop, and maintain custom Service Portal widgets, pages, and components to enhance user experience and streamline IT service delivery.

- ServiceNow Customization & Configuration : Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CMDB, and other relevant applications, to meet business requirements.

- Workflow Development : Develop and maintain Request workflows within ServiceNow to automate and optimize IT processes.

- Integration : Implement and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration methods.

- Core Java Development : Utilize strong Core Java development skills to create custom scripts, business rules, and other server-side logic within ServiceNow.

- ServiceNow Administration : Perform general ServiceNow administration tasks, including user management, security configuration, and system maintenance.

- CMDB Management : Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

- ITSM Integration : Implement and maintain integrations with other ITSM tools and systems.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow issues and incidents.

- Stay Updated : Keep abreast of the latest ServiceNow releases and features, and recommend best practices for implementation.

Must-Have Skills :

- 6 to 10 years of experience in ServiceNow development.

- Extensive experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow Service Portal.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java development.

- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, particularly ITSM and CMDB.

- Hands-on experience in implementing and customizing Request workflows within ServiceNow.

- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum practices and methodologies.

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (Must).

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification (Must).

- Experience with ITSM Integration.

- Experience with CMDB.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Proficiency in HTML, Angular.

- Experience in API development (REST, SOAP).

- Knowledge of BPM workflows.

- Experience in integrations and SOAP Service implementation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS) are mandatory.
