Area Construction Manager

Title: Lead Area Construction Manager Location: Jamnagar, Gujrat Purpose of Role: To lead and manage the end-to-end construction of the AI Data Centre project, ensuring timely, safe, and quality execution in line with design, SLA, and budgetary requirements. The role drives and leads all site activities, resources, and contractors to achieve seamless project delivery and successful handover to Operations. Responsibilities: Lead overall on-site construction execution of the AI Data Centre project, ensuring full compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), project schedules, and design specifications. Coordinate daily with design, MEP, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to understand detailed requirements and inter-dependencies across civil, electrical, mechanical, and data infrastructure works. Ensure seamless communication between NHQ, vendors, and site teams. Drive site progress against approved plans; identify bottlenecks or risks that may impact timelines (drawings, permits, materials, etc.) and initiate preventive or corrective measures. Monitor contractor manpower and productivity across all work fronts; ensure optimal resource allocation. Engage with vendors/contractors to improve performance, ensure recovery plans where delays occur. Ensure 100% adherence to safety, quality, and environmental norms across all construction activities. Facilitate safety inductions, toolbox talks, and continuous training for staff and contractors. Coordination for Technical Deliverables as per Project requirement. Ensure timely release of drawings and interface with NHQ/design teams. Coordinate installation readiness for equipment and support handover (HOTO) in line with commissioning requirements. Oversee preparation of Purchase Requisitions (PRs), certification of contractor bills, and Work Order (WO) amendments. Ensure adherence to budgetary limits and financial control processes. Ensure completion and handover of all civil, MEP, and fit-out works as per defined quality and procedural standards. Education: BE in Civil / MBA (Preferable)
