Role: Oracle APEX / Oracle ADF Developer Experience: 6+ years Location: Remote Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable) Shift Timings: 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST (Monday to Friday) Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX / Oracle ADF professional to design, develop, and support enterprise web applications using Oracle technologies. This role requires strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle databases, and hands-on experience with APEX and ADF frameworks. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate requirements into efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.ResponsibilitiesApplication Development & SupportDesign, develop, test, deploy, and document new applications as well as enhance existing applications on the Oracle APEX and ADF platforms.Perform system analysis and translate functional business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.Build custom applications using Oracle ADF (ADF Faces, Task Flows, Business Components).Create intuitive user interfaces and robust backend integrations.Develop and maintain packages, procedures, functions, views, triggers, and complex SQL queries.Implement security in ADF and ensure adherence to architecture, data governance, and IT standards.Participate in end-to-end SDLC and Agile methodologies.Integration & ArchitectureIntegrate Fusion APIs and develop synchronization mechanisms within Oracle APEX.Develop RESTful web services and work with SOAP/REST integrations between SaaS and PaaS environments.Work with tools like ICS/JCS to pull/push data between Fusion Applications and custom applications.Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with Oracle for product bugs or escalations.Collaboration & Project ActivitiesWork closely with business analysts, onsite/offshore teams, and functional consultants to evaluate and refine business requirements.Lead cross-functional discussions to analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.Prepare effort estimates, project schedules, test scripts, and deployment/migration documents.Conduct unit, integration, performance, capacity, and system testing.Participate in code reviews and recommend process or procedural improvements.Key Skills and CompetenciesTechnical Skills (Must-Have)6+ years of experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).6+ years of hands-on PL/SQL and SQL development with strong performance tuning skills.Strong understanding of Oracle EBS / Fusion Applications architecture and database structures.Hands-on experience with Oracle ADF 11g, JDeveloper, and ADF-based application development.Expertise in Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and Web Services.Experience developing APEX workflows, dynamic reports, and BI Publisher integrations.Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services and security architecture (roles, privileges, etc.)Experience in configuring applications for performance, security, and error-handling.Preferred SkillsUnderstanding of Agile methodologies.Experience with configuration, change, and incident management processes.Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education and QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent from a reputed institute.
