Manager -Security & Crisis Management

Siemens Energybusiness of Siemens Limited Corporate Security Office has an opening for anentry level Manager.

The CE SEC IndiaOffice handles corporate security topics like project security, travel risk,crisis management, incident

investigation,geopolitical & industrial security threat analysis and mitigation, etc. Thenew team

member would notonly participate and facilitate these topics but also receive exposure to avast

multiculturalnetwork of security & risk professionals.

To actively support the CountrySecurity Officer and the CE SEC – with enabling

business operations withresilience-building security measures, we are looking for the following type of

candidate -

(a) 4-7 years of work experience in a field likeCorporate Security / Industrial Security & Risk,

International Security, International Relations /Geopolitics, Criminology etc. (Proven track record in

the field of security and crisis management atmiddle management level.)

(b) Academic background should ideally be inInternational Relations / Geopolitics, Political Science,

Sociology, Conflict Studies, South Asia Studiesetc. however we are open to other academic

backgrounds as well.

(c) Excellent command over English language andat least two local Indian languages. Strong

managerial & interpersonal skills;self-motivated, able to achieve goals with minimum supervision.

High integrity, leadership traits and relevantprofessional experience in Corporate Security is a

must.

(d) Keen interest in analysis of geopolitical andsocioeconomic threats, how they can impact business

and supporting the organization minimizing risk.Experience with investigation and incident

analysis is preferred.

(e) Ability to handle incident and crisisresponse involving business travelers, project sites etc.

(f) Ability to communicate well with leaders andstakeholders in project management, business and

other corporate departments like safety,compliance etc.

(g) Ability to communicate and liaise withexternal parties like embassies, law enforcement officials,etc.

(h) Strong analytical skills along with a comfortin data analytics (MS Excel / Power BI etc.) and MS

Office in general.

(i) Proficient in preparing well thought-out,pragmatic and useful reports and presentations.

Responsibilitiesof the Role:


• Provide operational support to Country SecurityHead to respond to requirements for project

security which includes but is not limited topre-bid security assessments, site security concepts,

incident response & crisis preparedness plan,and the reporting and closure of incidents.


• Travel to remote/ critical project sites on arequirement basis for assessments and on-ground

support. Conduct security audit of hotels andtransport service provider and work closely with

SCM team to implement security standards.


• Single point of contact for security supportrequired by all international and domestic travelers.

Ensure compliance of travel securityguidelines.


• Impart training to business representatives andstakeholders.


• Support businesses in designing andimplementing security technologies.


• Ensure implementation of all company securityguidelines.


• Track on-going and emerging security threats,provide advice to mitigate security risks.


• Monitor reports / advisories from security /law enforcement agencies / security risk

consultancies and provide advice to business andproject teams.


• Support the Country Security Head incoordinating with company leadership in the event of

emergencies / crises.


• Maintain close contact with headquarter teamsand local security contacts to monitor and track

on-going and emerging security threats; andaccordingly provide security advice.


• Support Country Security Head in implementingExecutive Protection during senior global

delegates' visits in India; and protection toSenior Management as per risk scenarios. Provide

security support for any major events of Siemensas per company guidelines.


• Report periodically to the Country SecurityManager / Businesses/ Regional HQ on travel and

project security non-conformance. Assist CountrySecurity Head in preparing reports and

presentations for Senior Leadership.
