Employment: Full TimeTitle : Design Engineering Sr. Manager/AGMDomain : Renewable (Solar & Wind) – Solar Inverter/PCS/Electrical ConverterEducational Qualification & Experience : -Candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree Preferably - master degree from Reputed college in Electrical & Electronic engineering with min passing of above 60%.12+ years of experience in different Inversion/Conversion topology & last 5 years in Solar and/or Wind Industry.Experience in specification drafting of PCS/Inverter/Converter.Reviewing vendor offering of conversion system of Solar & wind Project.Knowledge of SCADA & EMS System.Experience in Analyzing Project requirements, generating conceptual Scheme and executing design solutions.Extensive knowledge in BESS, MW scale DC-Dc Converter.Experience in working for large Grid connected RE Project within defined Schedule would be an added advantage.Should have extensive experience in managing complex tech innovative pilot and should be capable to conceptualizing the project.Key Roles & Responsibilities: -The role will be for serving the technical Support for evaluation & troubleshooting(Post Commissioning) of Solar Inverter (both String & Central Inverters)/PCS/DC-DC Converter. The Strategic aspect includes goal setting for the team, hiring engineers and prioritizing projects.The Technical aspect is about getting actively involved in engineering of ongoing/upcoming Projects, identifying requirements and setting timelines.Develop and recommend improvements in design standards in the respective domain to lower cost and improve work quality and facilitate maintenanceCo-create the solution with external stakeholders.Maintains and analyses current Market dynamics in Power electronics.Interprets and evaluates requirements from grid operator and anticipate the changes/ development happening on Regulatory front.Coaching & mentoring the Internal Stakeholders.The candidate should be capable to selecting the best possible power electronic technology.Coordinating with all internal stakeholders, including PM teams, SCM, QA/QC, Construction, Testing Engineer, safety & O&M.Coordinating on technical issues with External stakeholders, including Vendor/Contractor, PGCIL, RLDC, Technical Consultant and Grid authorities.Oversee the quality and progress of design of the projects.Supports Bidding teams for new business stream.Manage projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines with Engineering department’s budget.Develop new design strategies for future projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources.Hire engineers and coordinate their induction/training.Constantly develop and implement innovative technologiesFunctional Skill: -Exceptional leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and problem resolution skills.Ability to interact and work effectively with individuals of a different cultural background located in a remote location.Excellent feedback and training skills.Ability to think outside the box and creatively.Good understanding of agile methodologiesLeadership abilities with a strategic mindEngineering Tool : -The person should be conversant for the industry leading tools used in Power Electronics.
