The Book Compositor will be responsible for typesetting, formatting, and preparing layouts for print and digital publications.The role involves maintaining design consistency, ensuring high-quality output, and collaborating with designers, editors, and other team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Attention to detail and adherence to predefined style guides are essential for this position.Qualifications & Skill SetProficiency in typesetting, formatting, and layout design tools, such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar softwareStrong understanding of typography, color schemes, and page composition principlesAttention to detail and ability to adhere to templates, style guides, and project specificationsBasic knowledge of book design standards and guidelines for both print and digital formatsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environmentPrior experience in publication design or book composition is preferredA degree or certification in Graphic Design, Publishing, or a related field is advantageous
