Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team at Career mantra. This is a remote, full-time position based in Pune, targeted at mid-level professionals with a minimum of 4 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing applications using Power Apps, Power BI, and Dynamics 365, ensuring seamless user experiences and data management. Position Responsibilities :

  • Develop and Customize Power Apps: Create custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), integrated with various data sources such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL Server.
  • Automate Workflows: Design and implement automation solutions using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) to streamline and improve business processes.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to help stakeholders analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Integrate Power Platform with Other Systems: Ensure seamless integration of Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third-party applications.
  • Maintain and Enhance Existing Solutions: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to existing Power Platform solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand requirements, define functional specifications, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute testing procedures to ensure the accuracy and stability of solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, including architecture, workflows, and processes.
  • Stay Current with New Features: Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform suite, continuously improving skill sets and incorporating new functionality into solutions.

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study (Required) or
  • An equivalent combination of education, work experience, and current certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience :

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps) mandatory
  • Experience in Power Pages (good to have)
  • Strong experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 integration.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Microsoft Teams integration is a plus.
  • Ability to write PowerShell scripts and work with JSON, HTML, and CSS for advanced customization.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and data integration.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and work on multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.

Certifications :

  • Microsoft Power Platform Certification (PL-900) mandatory
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certification (PL-400) preferred
