Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Research Analyst with approximately 1 year of experience in a research-focused role. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who takes full ownership of research tasks — from understanding the brief to delivering structured, insight-driven outputs. Experience at a market research firm is highly preferred. This role focuses primarily on secondary research, with occasional support for primary research activities. You will be expected to uncover trends, analyze business priorities, and develop user persona insights across various industries and domains. If you thrive on digging deep, validating your sources, and producing actionable research, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive secondary research on:
  • Industries, technologies, and market landscapes
  • Emerging trends and innovation themes
  • Business priorities across company segments and functions
  • User personas, needs, and behaviors in various domains
  • Take ownership of each research assignment and manage end-to-end execution
  • Identify, validate, and document relevant and trusted sources specific to each research task
  • Apply appropriate research methodologies to extract, structure, and synthesize data
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, evaluate credibility, and extract key insights
  • Create clear, structured deliverables including briefs, insight decks, competitive comparisons, and research summaries
  • Maintain a centralized repository of research findings and curated source libraries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Strategy, Marketing) to ensure relevance and usability of findings
  • Continuously improve research workflows, tools, and documentation processes

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Technology (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Minimum one year experience in a research role, preferably at a reputed market research firm such as Gartner, HG Insights, Everest Group, ISG or similar organizations
  • Strong grasp of secondary research techniques and structured research methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and own end-to-end research delivery
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data integrity

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to working with a market research firm or in a structured research environment
  • Familiarity in analyzing research reports from trusted sources such as TechTarget, CIO , Gartner, and CB Insights
  • Exposure to research and intelligence tools
  • Experience in user persona research or behavioral analysis
