As we expand our presence in Kochi, we're seeking a sharp and responsible Financial Executive to help us manage our finances with clarity, transparency, and purpose.

Your Role

You'll work at the intersection of numbers and impact – helping us manage finances for both Equilibrium and the startups we support. From basic bookkeeping to working with founders on budgeting, this is a hands-on, dynamic finance role for someone who loves getting into the details.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial Operations

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for Kochi operations
  • Track expenses, handle reimbursements, and manage petty cash
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, invoices, and balance sheets
  • Maintain documentation for audits, compliance, and internal reviews

Support for Startups

  • Assist portfolio startups with basic finance/accounting tasks
  • Guide them on budgeting, tax filing coordination, and expense tracking
  • Help build simple systems or processes they can use independently

Compliance & Coordination

  • Ensure timely filing of taxes, TDS, and other statutory documents
  • Work with external CA firms or auditors to ensure compliance
  • Support in funding-related paperwork, investment tracking, and due diligence

Who You Are

  • 1–3 years of experience in finance/accounting roles
  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field (B.Com/M.Com/MBA)
  • Fluent in English and Malayalam
  • Proficient with Excel, Tally/Zoho or other accounting software
  • Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and excited to support mission-driven work

Bonus Points

  • Experience in early-stage startups or working with founders
  • Basic understanding of investment documentation or venture capital
