We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with fresh ideas having passion & great acumen for ETL and data warehousing concepts. Strong working experience in Informatica Power Center, SQL and at least anyone scripting language is must. Good working knowledge in Agile model and should possess strong problem-solving skills and handling critical situations. Must have good knowledge of database systems and should be able to write basic and complex queries and have idea of advanced SQL concepts. Should be familiar with both Windows and UNIX environment.

Key Responsibilities

To interact with the Business, onsite/offshore counterparts to understand business requirement and transforming business rule into technical specifications. Responsible for all activities related to the development, implementation of ETL processes for large scale data warehouses using Informatica Power Center 10.5. Perform root cause analysis of job failures and propose solutions to perform complex troubleshooting. Involved in preparation of unit test cases and executing Unit test plan as well. Responsible for migration of informatica objects from one environment to another. Involved in performance tuning of mappings and sql queries for better performance and efficiency. Monitoring interfaces and informatica sessions, resolving on-going maintenance issues and bug fixes. Documentation for all the activities involved in different phases of development cycle. Should be able to identify the areas of improvement and re-engineering scope. Participating in discussions with cross commits. Helping other team members to resolve their technical issues. Mentoring the interns and new joiners. Monitor and report issues and work with the required team/vendor for quick resolution. Should be open to learn new technologies/tools.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 2 -7 years of relevant experience. Strong Informatica, IICS and ETL fundamentals. Should be experienced in Data Warehouse/Data mart, and OLAP implementations, requirements gathering, data modeling, Effort Estimation, ETL Design, development, System testing, Implementation. Hands-on experience on a job scheduling tool – preferably with TWS or Tidal. Hands-on experience on Power Exchange to create data map from Mainframe copybook. Working Experience of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Python. Basic knowledge of AWS services(S3, Lambda, EMR). Basic Knowledge of Mainframe to validate the VSAM files created through ETL. Knowledge of dev/test/prod environment code deployment processes. Should be able to understand business requirements, create technical specifications and design and implement the same using Integration technologies. Should Understand and can interpret, design and code UNIX shell scripts in bash / ksh. Conduct ETL workflow and mapping optimization review, troubleshooting and debugging. Understand and can interpret database access from Informatica and find optimization opportunities. Understand and can interpret scheduling of ETL based batch. Provides solutions to the critical issues in ETL (Informatica power center and IICS) Provides software support for ETL (Informatica power center and IICS) Provides technical assistance for incoming queries and issues related to the software products. Maintains operational day-to-day IT functions of software products. Performs root cause analysis to determine nature of software environment issues as they arise and provide the permanent fix for the issues. Experience with multi-vendor environment and Ability to work in a high-pressured, tight deadline environment. Generate innovative ideas and apply them in implementing solutions. Flexibility and adaptability towards changing organizational needs. Good Communication skills. Strong attention to detail and with ability to focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels. Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities required. High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments. Strong thought leadership and motivation with the ability to work independently. Ability to work in a diverse multi-national and multi-vendor environment. Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile incidents/problems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Annuity and Insurance products and policy admin systems such as Oracle's OIPA. Experience in Mainframe. Proven ability to successfully translate client/business needs into software designs. Certification on ETL/AWS is an added advantage. Should be self-starter and team player in solving issues and mentoring other team members. Automation and Continuous improvement support. Experience in handling automated code deployments through GIT or other version control tools. DevOps, CICD Pipeline knowledge.
