Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Associate to join our contract management team. The ideal candidate will have strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Drafting & Review:

  • Draft and review NDAs, SOWs, Amendments, and Change Requests using designated tools, ensuring accuracy, legal soundness, and compliance with internal standards and policies.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including business, operations, and other departments to gather inputs, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment on contractual terms.

Approval Management:

  • Proactively secure necessary approvals from cross-functional teams for both draft and final contract versions. Ensure timely completion to prevent execution delays.

Follow-ups & Communication:

  • Regularly follow up with requesters and stakeholders to track contract progress, obtain pending inputs, and ensure timely action. Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the process.

Tracking & Compliance:

  • Maintain internal trackers and databases to reflect contract status, key milestones, and changes. Ensure all documentation complies with internal processes and regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to provide updates, resolve issues, and work effectively across teams and organizational levels.

Tool Proficiency:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in contract management tools.

Teamwork:

  • Be a reliable, collaborative, and solution-oriented team player.

Qualifications

  • Education: LLB (Bachelor of Law)
  • Experience: relevant contract / legal experience preferred
  • Skills: Legal drafting, stakeholder management, contract lifecycle understanding, communication, and tool proficiency.
