The Team:

The foundation of IFS Tech's team structure is meticulously crafted to drive business value and achieve engineering and delivery excellence. Our engineering teams operate at the functional level, tirelessly delivering new features and enhancements aligned with business priorities. The two agile-based engineering teams, Team 1 (Finance and Procurement) and Team 2 (Inventory and CMMS), consistently follow bi-weekly sprints to ensure timely and impactful results. Our collaborative structure ensures a seamless blend of expertise and dedication, driving success in every aspect of our operations.

In this role, an IFS engineer should have a strong background in each functional module with a technology agility. They should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and have a problem-solving mindset. They should also possess technical skills such as SQL, XML, and reporting tools, as well as knowledge of IFS applications and modules.

Past Job Experience:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience working on ERP projects, with at least 4 years' experience in IFS.

- In-depth experience with IFS, involved in end-to-end implementations.

- Worked closely with business stakeholders and key users to develop new and optimized workflows within IFS.

- Worked with engineering teams in identification, tracking, and resolution of problems within IFS.

- Created training materials and provided training to end users on the IFS To succeed system.

- Experience in setting up new companies, posting controls, and report configurations.

- Worked on integrating IFS with external systems and financial institutions (Banks).

- Design, Architect and Code fit for purpose software based on functional and technical requirements.

- Executes responsibilities with a DevOps mindset for continuous delivery.

- Keep product security and performance at the center of development.

- Promote lean software development.

- Test, debug, review and maintain software to ensure quality and stability of the code.

- Be a strong team player, self-driven, able to learn new technologies and apply them to the product.

- Engage with requirement owners and other stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and technology.

- Hands-on experience with PL/SQL Procedures, Triggers, Packages.

- Expertise in working with IFS development tools and developing IFS application forms/screens.

- Experience in IFS integration development (Api factory, Bizapis, Microservices, etc.).

- Understanding of XML format for data exchange.

- Expertise in development and customization of Order reports for different functional areas of IFS.

- Proficiency in developing Lobbies, Quick reports, Database events, Scheduled tasks.

- Strong debugging and problem analytical skills.

- Experience in handling base profiles.

- Proficient knowledge of IFS R&P.

- Expertise in Data Migration, including creating FnD jobs, working with external files, and writing data migration scripts.

- Hands on experience with Jira and Confluence

- Nice to have: Terminal operations experience.

- Desired: Experience with IFS10 highest version.

- Desired: Experience with scrum work.

Soft Skills:

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong problem-solving mindset.

- Consulting and Accounting background preferred.

- Experience of working in a global environment.

- Experience in rolling out ERP solutions internationally.

- Good business documentation and presentation skills.

- Providing user training and support, including writing user manuals and documentation.

- Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards and maintaining system security and integrity.

- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, including data discrepancies and configuration errors.

- Keeping up to date with IFS technology trends and best practices.
