We are searching for a VP of Credit Risk and Decision Science who is a strategic innovator with hands-on experience in machine learning infrastructure and data science. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of building ML systems and stay actively engaged with the data science community to keep abreast of the latest technological :

- Design and implement a forward-thinking credit risk strategy that supports our unique lending model.

- Lead a team skilled in Risk Strategy, Model Creation, Model Training, Model Validation, Risk Operations, Collections, and more.

- Foster collaboration with Capital Markets teams and Investment Bankers to create financial models and projections for debt financing.

- Utilize expertise in data science and engineering to advance our risk assessment and mitigation systems.

- Maintain hands-on involvement in the team's activities, ensuring mastery over Fraud Modelling, Payment Risk, and Chargeback :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Statistics is required.

- Deep understanding and practical experience in building ML systems using platforms like Outerbound, Metaflow, or similar.

- Active participation in the data science community, such as solving problems on Kaggle.

- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Vector Databases, and Vector Computers.

- Extensive background in unsecured consumer lending.

- Ability to perform all roles within the risk management team.

- Preference for candidates with a Master's in Management, particularly with a specialization in Finance or Statistics.

- At least 7 years of leadership experience in credit risk management within fintech or financial services.
