Today, we are one of the world’s fastest growing insurance organizations, capable of writing in 128 countries on 6 continents.GENERAL SUMMARYThe Underwriting Assistant will be based at our newly set up office in GIFT City, providing underwriting support and business development for all classes of business within India & South Asian region.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESData entry of policy information into underwriting systems and related administrative work.Timely and accurate handling of underwriting support work assigned.Ensure adherence to record management standards.Actively follow-up Aged Debtors/outstanding premium collections.Liaison with cedant / brokers as per requirements.QUALIFICATIONSJob Specifications:Insurance-related experience is an advantage.Able to work independently.Good team player with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.Competent in Microsoft Office.Proficient in English speaking and writing.Education:Tertiary Education or equivalentExperience:Fresh University graduate or minimum of 2-3years of underwriting support experience in Property, Construction and Energy would be an added advantage.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
