About the Role:
We are looking for a highly professional and dedicated Front Office Executive to join the team at our 50-room property in T. Nagar, Chennai. This role is crucial as you will be the first point of contact for our guests, primarily from Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and the UK. The ideal candidate will be a well-presented individual with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and managing reservations made online and over the phone.
Verifying guests' payment methods and processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of hotel specials and services.
Organizing transportation services and arranging sightseeing tours for guests.
Providing detailed information about the hotel, its amenities, and nearby attractions.
Maintaining a deep understanding of local attractions to provide personalized recommendations.
Assisting in other administrative tasks to support the front office operations.
Requirements:
A graduate degree in Hotel Management or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a similar hospitality role.
Previous experience with SKYHMS is a significant advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
A well-presented and professional demeanor.
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive attitude with the ability to learn quickly on the job.
Excellent customer service skills.
Work Details:
This is a full-time, permanent position.
The role involves working in a three-shift rotation.
Note: We have a strong preference for candidates currently based in Chennai.
Salary: Rs 22000 to 25000/-
