In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating software applications and systems to ensure the quality and performance of our products. You will work closely with senior engineers and developers to identify issues and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities:- Perform manual and automated testing on various software applications and systems.- Analyze requirements and technical specifications to create test plans and test cases.- Execute tests and document test results, including defect identification and reporting.- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.- Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to best practices.- Work in an Agile environment, ensuring that testing aligns with project timelines.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices.- Knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks.- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.) is a plus.- Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript are beneficial.- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Good communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.- Experience with version control systems such as Git.Why Qvantel?- Work in an innovative, fast-paced environment.- Opportunity to learn and grow with experienced professionals.- Competitive salary and benefits package.- A collaborative and supportive team culture.If you are passionate about technology and eager to make a meaningful impact in the telecom industry, we encourage you to apply for the Junior Test Engineer position at Qvantel.
