Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the developmental, physical, and emotional needs of children.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans and strategies to address clients' specific requirements.
  • Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to enhance functional abilities and independence.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Educate families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to implement at home.
  • Stay updated with the latest practices and research in the field of occupational therapy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Possession of relevant certifications and registration.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in conducting assessments and providing therapy.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute effective plans and strategies tailored to individual needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • A profound understanding of the higher functioning of children and their developmental milestones.
