Job Title : SAP Retail MM Testing Consultant

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Retail MM Testing Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Material Management (MM) and SAP Retail. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in SAP testing and a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA implementation (preferred). The role involves end-to-end testing, test strategy development, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality SAP implementations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Testing Expertise :

- Hands-on experience in SAP manual and automated testing processes.

- Strong understanding of testing best practices, standards, methodologies, and testing metrics.

- Proficiency in defect life cycle management and test case execution.

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA implementation testing (good to have).

SAP MM & Retail Functional Expertise :

- Deep expertise in SAP MM (Material Management) and SAP Retail processes.

- Strong understanding of SAP functional business process flows across modules.

- Ability to design and validate end-to-end business process flows.

- Proficiency in test planning, strategy development, and execution for SAP Retail & MM solutions.

Testing Lifecycle & SDLC Knowledge :

- Strong understanding of different Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs) and Testing Life Cycles (TLCs).

- Experience with functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Exposure to test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, TOSCA, or Worksoft Certify.

- Experience in preparing test reports, test dashboards, and defect tracking reports.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Ability to coordinate with Business Analysts, ABAP developers, and Functional Analysts for seamless test execution.

- Strong skills in documentation and presentation for test plans, strategies, and reports.

- Ability to manage test KPIs and track testing efforts efficiently.

- Engage with automation testing teams to provide functional expertise and support script development.

Leadership & Process Improvement :

- Mentor and train junior testing team members on SAP testing best practices.

- Continuously improve testing and validation processes to enhance efficiency.

- Monitor and drive quality assurance through structured test planning and execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP testing.

- Strong expertise in SAP MM and SAP Retail modules.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation testing (preferred).

- Excellent understanding of end-to-end SAP business process flows.

- Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in automation testing for SAP.

- Knowledge of SAP FI, SD, or WM modules (a plus).

- ISTQB or SAP Testing certification (preferred).
