The ideal candidate will have a deep background in .NET development, a proven track record in building robust e-commerce solutions, and experience extending platforms like nopCommerce. You will be instrumental in designing scalable architecture, integrating with third-party services (including logistics and payments), and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.Key Responsibilities:Design & Development:Lead the design and architecture of scalable software solutions for e-commerce and logistics workflows.Develop, maintain, and extend e-commerce solutions, with a strong focus on the nopCommerce framework.Build and maintain secure and efficient RESTful APIs for seamless integration with third-party providers (logistics, payment gateways, etc.).Write clean, scalable code using C# and .NET Core/ .NET 5+.Technical Expertise:Work with both relational (e.g., MS SQL Server) and non-relational databases, implementing optimization strategies.Participate in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment cycles.Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and Programming skillsUtilize version control systems (Git) effectively and advocate for best practices.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to ensure high availability and reliability.Collaboration & Process:Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams to define technical requirements, timelines, and deliverables.Work comfortably in an Agile environment, following sprint-based workflows and participating in regular stand-ups and planning sessions.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment guides.Professional Discipline:Own tasks and projects end-to-end with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability and commitment.Report work progress on a weekly basis clearly and concisely.Maintain the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality, especially concerning sensitive business data.Use AI models and tools responsibly as programming aids to enhance productivity, while avoiding full dependency and ensuring all output is critically evaluated, adapted, and validated to fit our specific business logic and quality standards.Required Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in .NET software development.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in building, maintaining, and extending e-commerce platforms. Prior nopCommerce framework experience is highly desirable.Strong experience in developing plugins or modules to extend platform functionality.Solid understanding of relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and performance optimization.Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.Familiarity with the logistics domain and payment gateway integrations.Experience working with non-relational databases is a plus.Front-end skills (React, Angular, or similar) are a good-to-have, but not mandatory.Based in India and legally eligible to work.Management & Soft Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to document requirements and create clear technical documentation.Ability to communicate in additional languages (e.g., Portuguese) is a significant advantage but not required.Must be comfortable working remotely with minimum supervision, demonstrating high self-discipline and a proactive attitude.Able to work flexibly to attend meetings aligned with Brazil and Germany time zones as needed.An effective communicator and a reliable team player committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
