Based out of our AI Lab located in Hyderabad, you will lead a hands-on team of early-career engineers and data scientists to explore where AI can fundamentally improve how we innovate, make and deliver medicines.We’re looking for someone who builds before they present.Someone who treats AI as a capability, not a slide deck.Someone who can prototype in days, test in weeks and scale what proves its worth.What you’ll do - Identify high-impact problems worth solving with AI - Build prototypes that challenge assumptions and deliver evidence, not opinions - Mentor and grow a young team through execution, not supervision - Move successful experiments into scalable, production-grade solutions - Keep us grounded in responsible and ethical AI while moving fastWhat you must know - LLMs, RAG systems, vector search and GenAI architectures - Python, ML engineering practices and modern MLOps - Cloud deployment at scale (Google preferred) - How to evaluate models rigorously and improve them iterativelyWho this role suitsA builder with curiosity.A technical leader who is hands-on.Someone who can speak to engineers in code and to business in outcomes.Someone who wants to shape the future of AI in pharma by doing, not theorizing.
