Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Windchill Tester to join our QA team, with a focus on both manual and automated testing within the medical devices domain. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Windchill PLM systems and experience with test automation tools, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through comprehensive testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with business requirements and PLM processes.
  • Perform manual testing for new features, and execute regression testing as needed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define regression cut-off points and ensure alignment with sprint goals.
  • Plan and execute functional acceptance testing and regression testing for each sprint cycle.
  • Analyze the system landscape to design robust automation architectures using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test artifacts.
  • Partner with onshore/offshore Business and Solution Architects to support end-to-end testing efforts.
  • Coordinate and oversee test activities across teams; identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Deliver unit and functional test cases for all implemented features and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Domain experience in the medical devices industry is mandatory.
  • Proven hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing of Windchill PLM.
  • In-depth understanding of multiple Windchill modules and their functional workflows.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium for test automation (preferred).
  • Experience designing and developing test automation scripts.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Cucumber, or other BDD tools (preferred).
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Certifications (a plus):
  • ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications
  • Windchill certification or formal training
