We have urgent requirement for Global QAQC Project Lead. Person should have good years of experience in oil Gas

An exciting opportunity to join a global team of a world leader in inspection, audit and certification services.

Within SGS Industries and Environment division, the Global Supply Chain and Technical Staffing Services business unit provides a range of QA/QC services including vendor assessments, inspection, expediting and technical staffing to major customers in Energy, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Transportation sectors. The global segment is responsible for the strategic development and support of their services at a global level.

This key position is part of the Global team and will be responsible for delivery of QA/QC services to external/ internal Customers worldwide. The is a dynamic position in a fast-paced environment requiring working across borders and cultures with plenty of room to grow for the right individual.

The role will involve handling the complete global delivery process from:

· Qualification of QA/QC personnel

· Review of Call-off requests

· Assignment and work instructions

· Report review/ verification

· Achieving Customer/ internal KPIs

· Project budgeting/ cost control

· Continual improvement

Main Purpose of Role

To undertake international coordination with clients or internal affiliates in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with SGS global procedures and systems.

To qualify Inspectors, auditors and experts utilising SGS competency framework and procedures and ensure all necessary checks are undertaken to verify competency.

Working closely with internal resourcing team, ensure availability of sufficient personnel to meet project requirements.

Performing competence checks and audits to ensure compliance and reduce risk.

Provide technical resource related inputs to support tendering and business development activities.

Support in development of new templates and technical input for the development of the digital inspection tools to meet market expectations.

Support in analysing inspection data for customer insights.

Periodic reporting of KPIs and inspection data to global key accounts

Develop project QA/QC cost estimates and manage within budget during execution

Contribute to continual improvement and development of SGS global procedures and systems for best-in-class performance and enhancing value propositions to Customers.

Key Accountabilities

Responsible to ensure pool of technically qualified resources are available to meet job demands.

Ensuring a large enough pool of qualified resources to respond to incoming requests within target KPI.

Support to maintain the global Capability matrix and pricing sheet

Review reporting templates and ensure completed as per client requirements.

Execute global processes and maintain all records and data in system in accordance with procedures.

Technical Support to check inspectors via spot site/ video audits and reports to ensure inspectors are following required Inspection process, completing reports correctly and following HSE requirements.

· At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the Company's policies and procedures.

· Ensure full compliance with the Company's Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, and at all times adopt behaviour in accordance with SGS Equality & Diversity policy.

Essential

· Proficiency in using Microsoft applications specially Excel (advance level) as well as Word, Outlook and power point (intermediate level)

Experience

Essential

· Minimum 5 years' experience of managing Global Vendor Inspections and Expediting projects within international TPI agencies or their clients. Some experience working in EPCs/ Owners/ Operators desirable.

· Technical knowledge of Inspection Services, ITP review and reporting. Some field experience desirable.

· Previous experience of sourcing and technically assessing inspectors

Qualifications

· Degree in Engineering (mechanical) or Science.

Desirable

· Professional certifications in Welding, Coating and/ or NDT techniques

· ISO 9001 QMS Internal Auditor certification

Performance Indicators

· Qualifying and verifying inspectors in line with competency framework and ensuring all up to date in system.

· Number of missed inpsections or complaints

· Systems updated in timely manner against monthly reports
