Job Description

  • We are looking for a diligent and strategic Purchase Executive to join our procurement team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, goods, and services, negotiating the best possible terms, and ensuring timely delivery to support our operational needs.
  • This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Requirements
  • Vendor Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Procurement Operations:
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or pricing.
  • Cost Management:
  • Conduct cost analysis to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve best value.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and ensure expenditures are within approved limits.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate with inventory control and warehouse teams to manage stock levels.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet operational requirements without overstocking.
  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Generate and present procurement reports and analyses to management.
  • Market Research:
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging suppliers.
  • Assess and recommend new suppliers and alternative materials.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and explore new opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand and anticipate their procurement needs.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate processing of invoices and timely payments.
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving procurement processes.
