Join us in building the future of secure, AI-driven data protection.Role Overview We are developing next-generation browser-based security and automation tools that adapt intelligently to diverse web applications. This role focuses on building extensible browser integrations, developing systems that understand and model site behavior, and designing AI/LLM pipelines that generate dynamic rules and configurations to power our product. You’ll work on foundational technology that ensures our platform can automatically reason about how different sites function and apply the correct safeguards in real time. What You’ll Do Develop robust browser-based integrations (Chrome, Firefox, and other modern platforms) that interact with and understand complex web application environments.Create systems that gather contextual information from targeted web applications to help the platform analyze structure, behaviors, and interaction patterns.Build automation and intelligence layers that allow our platform to dynamically adapt its behavior based on observed site characteristics.Design AI/LLM-driven pipelines that transform site-level insights into configuration logic used by our security and automation tools.Implement secure, efficient communication between browser components and backend services for analysis, validation, and rules generation.Ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of browser integrations across varied and evolving web ecosystems.Contribute to architectural direction, help shape the next generation of browser-based analysis tooling, and mentor team members. Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years focused on browser extensions or similar front-end web automation tools.Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web APIs.Experience with browser extension APIs (Chrome Extensions Manifest V3, Firefox WebExtensions, etc.).Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, GraphQL, WebSockets).Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular)Familiarity with LLM integration (e.G., using OpenAI, Anthropic, or local inference models) and prompt design.Experience with server-side languages (Node.Js, Python, or Go) for pipeline and backend development.Knowledge of security practices related to browser extensions (sandboxing, permissions, data privacy).Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-Have SkillsBackground in AI/ML, especially in using LLMs for automation, data extraction, or code generation.Experience with Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) or similar low-level browser interfaces.Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI quality pipelines.Prior work on developer tools, web security, or automation frameworks.Experience with web automation and DOM manipulation (e.G., Puppeteer, Playwright, or Selenium).
